Ingredients

Coriander Seeds - 3/4 cup

Red Chillies - 30 nos

Cumin Seeds (Jeera ) - 2 tbsp

Black Peppercorn - 1.5 tbsp

Poppy Seeds - 2 tsp

Fennel Seeds - 2 tsp

Cinnamon Powder - 1/8 tsp

Instructions

Dry roast coriander seeds and red chilies one by one in a kadai/ wok until they get heated and start releasing a nice aroma. Keep the flame in low to medium heat.

Remember to add a couple of drops of oil to the wok when roasting the dry red chilies to prevent them from burning.

Add the rest of the ingredients to the wok and roast them together since they are all in a much smaller quantity.

Remove each of the ingredients after roasting them separately and place them in a plate and allow them to cool.

When they have cooled off completely, put them all in a mixer jar blender and grind them to a fine powder.
